I usually have a lot of good to say about games I choose to play.
This is an awesome game but I tell anyone and everyone not to invest into this
any effort and certainly not invest money.

Turbine advertised a "pre release" version right after beta.
Buy the "pre release" and become a "founder"

I paid for this with legal tender and became a founder.
I sent my account payment via Pay By Cash services and started playing.
I was a founder.

I then purchased the full retail version as soon as it hit the shelves.
The package offers 30 days free game time with purchas of the cd.
Turbine denied me the 30 days as promosed and advertised with the purchas.
Strike one.

I went out and got the official Turbine/lotro 60 day game card and paid on the account. The founders status offers a decent discount but I declined it and use
game cards because I got caught up in a 32k credit card scam on line.

Because I paid my game time with that official game card Turbine revoked my founders status. Thats right folks, they robbed me of what I paid for and they broke our agreement/contract. Im no longer a founder.
I called customer care on the phone and the guy was extrememly rude and talked over and above every word I said, insisting on some illegal company policy where they can advertise, market and sell a product with terms and conditions but turn around and outright break that agreement ....simple as that.

I posted in the LOTRO forums about this issue and they have hidden all my posts from view of the general public

Now I noticed a lot of complaints in the forums about their billing practice so I started paying attention to the posts and looking at my own account.

3 weeks and 4 days ago I paid my account with a 60 day game card.
When I log in they say I have 11 play days remaining.
Thats right folks, now they fully intend to rob me of about 30 days tre paid game time.

I noticed they were changing the dates on the account history and many others caught on to it and cancelled their accounts and were still being billed 3 months after canceling. Now to avoid all that they have completely removed the payment history from the accounts section. Thats right folks, deliberation here.
They are fully aware of what they are doing.

I checked the BBB website and sure enough "This business is in poor standing with the BBB and we do not recommend doing business with them.
They have many unanswered and unsolved complaints and they are all simular to my own.

I contacted the Internet fraud crime unit/ div of the FBI and seems there are hundreds of complaints aganst this company and an ongoing private investigation
so I added my complaint into the mix.

Just so you know, thats how Turbine conducts business and personally I would not corrupt these forums with such outright criminalistic game marketers.
They are thieves and they know it and do this as if they think their policies overide laws and federal internet commerce regulations.

Turbine is not even worthy of mention in passing.
Do not promote criminal activity across the internet !
